Multi-Arts programs are run in the summer months for young people by schools, arts organizations, and community groups around the country. Founded in 1970, the Charles River Creative Arts Program in Dover, MA., has become a model for these programs. This program's artistic, educational, and financial success has been reproduced at over 30 school and community arts centers throughout the United States.

The Multi-Arts Program conference is designed to address a range of issues pertinent to those contemplating initiating a program as well as those already involved in administering programs. Participants should come prepared to share their experience and insight on all subjects.

The conference will focus on the following areas:
  • Program adjustments and innovations
  • Relationship to host institutions
  • Administrative issues
  • Visions for the future
