this dramatic and touching musical will entertain audiences of all ages.
In pre-Revolutionary War Massachusetts, Goody Rickby builds a scarecrow with the help of her devilish assistant. A magical corncob pipe brings the scarecrow to life as the dashing Lord Ravensbane.

Accompanied by his tutor, Dickon, Lord Ravensbane sets out into the world,marveling at its wonders and the love he comes to feel for the lovely Rachel. As the play reaches its poignant climax, Ravensbane must face the truth of his life as an enchanted being.
